Tent care guidelines
Treat the tent like a furnished hotel room under canvas — so it stays lovely for you and for the next family.

Inside the tent
No shoes inside
Leave shoes at the entrance. Dirt and grit grind into flooring, rugs, and bedding — and they transfer to the next guest’s setup.
No food or drinks on beds
Snacks and drinks are fine on trays, side tables, or the floor rugs — not on mattresses or pillows. Spills on luxury linens are hard to reverse and may be charged if they can’t be cleaned.
No sharp objects on beds or mattresses
Jewelry with sharp backs, tools, scissors, pins, and similar items can tear foam and fabric. Keep them off the sleep surfaces.
No glitter, confetti, slime, paint, nail polish, or permanent markers
These are nearly impossible to fully remove from canvas, rugs, and bedding. Save craft projects and messy party supplies for the house or patio.
Keep zippers closed when practical
A zipped entrance and screened windows keep bugs out and warmth in. In rain or heavy dew, keep the tent closed so water stays outside the living space.
Don’t spray insect repellent inside
Aerosol and heavy sprays can stain fabric and leave smells for later guests. Apply bug spray outside, then re-enter once it has dried.

Safety & equipment
No smoking or vaping inside
Keep the tent smoke-free. Tobacco, cannabis, and vapes leave odor in fabric and bedding that is difficult to remove.
No open flames or cooking inside
No candles with real flame, sterno, grills, camp stoves, fireworks, charcoal, or fuel inside the tent. Only battery or electric lights and devices we provide or explicitly approve.
Outdoor fire pits & grills stay clear of the canvas
You may use outdoor fire features on your property if local rules allow — but keep them a safe distance from the tent, never unattended, and never bring hot coals or fuel into or against the structure.
Only approved heaters and devices
Use only heaters, fans, lights, or electronics we supply or approve in writing. Unapproved space heaters and high-draw appliances are a fire and electrical risk under canvas.
Don’t climb, hang, or lean on the structure
Poles, walls, and guy lines aren’t playground equipment. Don’t climb them, hang heavy items from them, or pull hard on stakes and sandbags. Leave staking and sandbags as we set them unless we ask you to adjust something.
Don’t rearrange major furniture or tear down gear
You’re welcome to tidy blankets and move small trays. Please don’t disassemble beds, move heavy furniture layouts, unplug our lighting plan, or start pack-out yourself — we handle that so nothing gets damaged.

People, kids & pets
Supervise children at all times
Kids are welcome. An adult should supervise play in and around the tent. The tent is lodging, not a bounce house — no roughhousing that stresses poles, walls, or beds.
Respect sleeping capacity
Sleep only the number of people your bed layout is set for. Extra daytime guests are fine if the tent isn’t overcrowded; tell us roughly how many people will use the space when you book.
No pets inside the tent
Fur and dander cling to bedding and can affect guests with allergies. Pets may stay in the yard if they’re controlled and don’t chew stakes, sandbags, cords, or canvas. Please secure pets during setup and pack-out so our team can work safely.
Someone 18+ is responsible for the stay
The booking adult is responsible for all guests’ behavior, for following these guidelines, and for any damage from misuse — not normal wear.

Weather, access & pack-out
Plan for the forecast
We operate year-round when conditions allow. Dress for the weather, use the bedding we provide, and keep the tent zipped in wet or buggy conditions. If severe weather makes a stay unsafe, we’ll work with you on rescheduling per our policy.
Keep a clear path for pack-out
On pack-out morning (or your agreed end time), leave a clear walkway from the street or driveway to the tent. Move personal items, bikes, and toys out of our path so we can break down efficiently.
Personal belongings leave with you
Take phones, chargers, clothes, gifts, and decorations before we arrive to pack out. We’re not responsible for items left behind after teardown.
Power access when we need it
If we arranged lights that use your outdoor outlet, please leave that circuit available and don’t unplug our setup without checking with us first.

If something happens
Report damage or issues right away
Text or email us as soon as you notice a tear, stain, equipment issue, or safety concern. Quick notice helps us fix small problems before they get worse.
Normal wear vs. damage charges
Ordinary wear from careful use is expected. Damage from misuse, prohibited items, negligence, or ignoring these guidelines may be charged for fair repair or replacement. We’ll communicate clearly if anything applies.
Future bookings
In rare cases of intentional damage or refusal to cover legitimate repair costs, we may decline future rentals. We want every stay to go smoothly — following these rules is the easiest path.
